SiSoftware Sandra Lite 2011 is a system analyzer with a long list of benchmarking tools and testing modules. They show details about your system that some of other similar tools in the market do not. This tool helps you to get information about every single hardware component of your system.

Sandra's main window is well organized for navigation. It clearly lists all the available groups with just the required details, helping fast navigation. In Sandra, the tools and utilities are categorized in a tabbed manner. Every category offers similar functional tools, grouped together for an easy access. You can also add your frequent tests or benchmarking tools under your favorites tab. The customization level available makes a lot of sense.

Some of the tests need to be aggressive in order to get precise results from your hardware or software tools. While running these tests your machine may freeze for a while, depending on the response coming from your system components. However, most benchmarking tests really do a very good job in producing the desired results.

There are multiple ways of getting reports, which you can then easily save or print. Sandra supports various formats, such as plain text, HTML, XML, SMS to Mobile, and RPT.

Before concluding this review, there are some unique advantages that I would like to mention. Sandra Lite supports three native architectures - x86, x64 and ARM. It also supports benchmarking for some of the major technologies, such as GPGPU. This Lite version is free for personal and educational use.
